Indonesia – Naturevolution continued its activities throughout the summer at 50 different sites in Matarape Bay and the Matarombéo massif on Sulawesi Island, thanks to the presence of 30 eco-volunteers. Very encouraging results for the continuation of our conservation actions in the region.

At the end of April, the Naturevolution team met on the southeastern branch of Sulawesi Island to lay the foundations for an ambitious project: the Konawe Plastic Project aims to reduce ocean pollution in a sublime lost world, but sorely lacking a waste management system.

Implementing exemplary, sustainable waste management in coastal villages on the southeastern island of Sulawesi. Clean-ups will raise awareness and provide training in sorting in the villages, and a collection circuit will be set up. A recycling chain will also be developed to maximize the value of waste.
