Madagascar – In the summer of 2018, two of Naturevolution’s field missions to protect the Makay massif in Madagascar were accompanied by eco-volunteers. Back on these missions and the actions carried out thanks to the presence of 15 people.

Naturevolution launches an ambitious reforestation project around the villages of Makay. 2019 will have seen the creation of 5 forest nurseries, the sowing of almost 100,000 seeds – without the use of plastic pots! – and the replanting of the first few hundred trees.

Indonesia – Naturevolution continued its activities throughout the summer at 50 different sites in Matarape Bay and the Matarombéo massif on Sulawesi Island, thanks to the presence of 30 eco-volunteers. Very encouraging results for the continuation of our conservation actions in the region.

In April 2018, Naturevolution organized a first awareness-raising mission in the new Makay protected area in Madagascar. A mission that aimed to test a first educational trunk.

At the end of April, the Naturevolution team met on the southeastern branch of Sulawesi Island to lay the foundations for an ambitious project: the Konawe Plastic Project aims to reduce ocean pollution in a sublime lost world, but sorely lacking a waste management system.
